Remapping

October 27 2014

The cars that are made today are made with an engine control unit or ECU. These ESU is a small computer located in the engine of the car, like any computer it has software programmed into it. Pretty much this computer tells the car how to run, where it is running, what climate its running in, how to works and it can even take notice to the fuel the car is ingesting. The ECU is like a brain of the car. The manufacturers set the software on the ESU to default before sending the vehicle to where ever it is ship. The reason they set it to default is because Cars and the automobiles are shipped all over the world.

When you remap the ESU software on the car or automobile you are programming the software in the computer to be the best it can be. When the engine knows exactly what roads it drives on or what the weather or climate that the car or automobile drives in on a regular basis. It will give the best performance it can. The engine already knows what fuel the car ingests. Your guiding the car to knowing exactly what it needs to know before it needs to know it. Which is awesome. So when your remapping Scotland the car you are retuning the default on the car to knowing everything it needs to know about the surroundings it is in. You are plugging the OBD port which is the serial port which makes the engine map greater and gives it a better run or performance to the cars engine. sounds like a car with brain's. You can also get ECU remapping Kilmarnock.
